Gut Microbes Paper Highlighted by Rutgers Addiction Research Center

We are excited to share that our recent publication in Gut Microbes, "Microbiome signatures associated with escalation of cocaine self-administration in mice," was featured by the Rutgers Addiction Research Center in a news article highlighting the study's findings and their implications for understanding substance use disorders.

The article discusses how alterations in the gut microbiome may be associated with vulnerability to cocaine addiction and underscores the growing importance of gut-brain interactions in addiction research.
